
Roger Bird, M.D., the President and one of the founders of Southwest Neuro-Imaging, Ltd., received his M.D. degree in 1977 from Loma Linda University School of Medicine, Loma Linda, CA. After completing a General Surgery Internship, and Residency in Diagnostic Radiology, he attended Duke University Medical Center for his Fellowship in Neuroradiology. He was and still is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Dr. Bird has been a Board Certified Radiologist since 1982 and obtained Board Certification with added qualifications in Neuroradiology in 1995. He has been Chief of Pediatric Neuroradiology at St. Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center in Phoenix since 1987, and the Director of the Neuroradiology Fellowship Program at the Barrow Neurological Institute, and Chairman, Division of Neuroradiology for Barrow Neurological Institute, St. Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center since January 2000. He holds many medical society memberships and has actively participated on many medical committees and boards throughout his career.

Dr. Karis is a Neuroradiologist with Southwest Neuro Specialists, and serves on the staff of Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital & Medical Center, in Phoenix Arizona. Dr. Karis graduated with an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at Princeton University, and from the Duke University School of Medicine, where he did his Residency. Dr. Karis completed a Fellowship in Neuroradiology at the Barrow Neurological Institute.

Dr. Stephen M. Papadopoulos is a practicing neurosurgeon and the director of clinical operations at Barrow Neurological Institute. He has been working in the field of surgical navigation for more than 15 years and is considered a pioneer in computer-assisted neurosurgery. While at the University of Michigan, Papadopoulos helped develop their revolutionary image-guided surgery program. Papadopoulos is a graduate of the University of Texas and University of Michigan medical schools. He is a clinical professor at the University of Arizona and a past president of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
