A DG Story

DICOM Grid was founded in 2006 by neuroradiologists from Phoenix, Arizona. As the medical realm was becoming increasingly digital, they were frustrated that this technology was making their lives more difficult, when it was intended to do the opposite. Systems from different medical facilities did not communicate with one another and they lacked timely information essential to quality patient care.

The cost of running their practices was escalating as they purchased additional equipment and hired additional IT staff to manage different systems.

Alas, DICOM Grid was created to realize their vision of a 21st –century cloud platform that would dramatically improve physician communication and patient care. Today, we are constantly evolving our platform into a powerful knowledge system to help our customers transform how they practice medicine.
