Split Merge Technology

Patented split-merge technology anonymizes image studies by re­moving protected health information (PHI) from imaging data. The PHI is sep­arately encrypted and stored, creating an Internet-safe image study.

When the study is forwarded to an authorized physician, split-merge de-crypts and merges the PHI back into the image data to recreate the original image study.
